Apparently, President Obama is still puffing on the ol' cancer sticks.
As a long-time smoker myself, I'm willing to cut him every available inch of slack on this one. Further, I'm willing to go so far as to defend him.
Everyy smoker who's tried to quit (or just doesn't want to) should grin and let this one slide.
Every non-smoker should can it, as you have no idea of which you speak.
And every EX-smoker should just leave this topic alone. You know, and I know, that ex-smokers can be some of the most judgemental non-smokers in existence.
We've got bigger problems right now than whether Obama needs to soothe the occasional nic fit.

Promise to the wife notwithstanding, I think trying to quit smoking as you assume the Presidency of the United States is an incredibly stupid thing to do. We don't need that kind of cranky runnin' the place.
